Here is a brief explanation of the items on the kindergarten school supply list. Unless stated, supplies will be put into a community area and there will be no need to label with your student's name.
4 MEDIUM GLUE STICKS - These come in so many different sizes now! Small ones are nice because we can get into small places, but they run out so fast. They also make giant ones that last forever, but are really hard to glue small pieces. If you purchase the smaller glue sticks, just keep in mind you may have to buy twice as many to last the whole year.
1 ROLL PAPER TOWELS - Any brand, any kind! These always come in handy!
2 BOXES OF 24 CRAYONS - Many stores have these on sale for school. I usually save one box back for after Christmas.
1 BOX MARKERS - These can be broad or fine, classic, bold, or bright colors. Walmart and Target always have these on sale before school starts.
ZIPPER PENCIL CASE - (approximately 10 x 6) Keep this simple. We need to keep all our supplies in this, but it also needs to fit in the pocket on the back of our chair. Please label.
SOFT PINK ERASER
MAT FOR REST TIME - Storage space is limited in our classroom. A Red/Blue KinderMat is easy for students to stow and comfortable for our 15 minute daily power rest during the first semester. Please label and NO blanket or pillow.
WET ONES ANTIBACTERIAL WIPES - We use these for table surfaces and hands. These are my favorite because other disinfecting wipes can be harsh and baby wipes can be greasy. However, we will gladly accept any brand that you bring!
HEADSET/EARBUDS FOR iPADS AND COMPUTER - We will use these everyday with our iPads. Please purchase something durable and comfortable for your child. Make sure your student knows how to use the headset before bringing them to school. Please label.
